HARRISONVILLE - The Helias Lady Crusaders advanced to the Class 3 District 13 title game with a 5-0 blanking of the Warrensburg Lady Tigers on Monday.
With the win, top-seeded Helias (14-9) advances to Wednesday night's championship game against second-seeded Harrisonville (11-10). Harrisonville defeated Camdenton 3-0 in Monday's second semifinal.
Five Lady Crusaders - Kayla Yanskey, Maggie Kehoe, Morgan Wieberg, Paige Weaver and Olivia Wolken - tallied goals in the win. Michalee Sipi had two assists. Yanskey, Olivia Farrow and Sarah Pierle had one each.
The championship game is slated for 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Harrisonville defeated Helias 1-0 in last year's district title game.
The District 13 winner will host the District 14 champion in the sectional Tuesday, May 24. The District 14 title game is scheduled for today between Notre Dame de Sion (15-5) and Belton (15-10-1).
