TIPTON - A five-hit performance for Mason Stewart led the Russellville Indians to a 20-3 win Thursday against the Tipton Cardinals.
Stewart drove in six runs as he went 5-for-6 at the plate.
Cole Freeman went 2-for-5 with three RBI while Chandler Miller went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Cory Minor earned the win on the mound, allowing just one run on two hits in four innings. He struck out two.
Russellville closes out the regular season with a 10-11 record and begins play in the Class 1 District 8 tournament Saturday.
The fourth-seeded Indians face fifth-seeded Iberia at 10 a.m. at New Bloomfield.
