Wrestling: Blair Oaks finishes seventh at Union

UNION, Mo. - The Blair Oaks Falcons took seventh place Saturday at the Union Tournament, scoring 133 points.

The Falcons were led by two third-place medalists. Joey Conway posted a 3-1 record at 120 pounds, winning a 5-1 decision against Fatima's Clayton Haslag in the third-place match. Dalton Bridges also finished third with a 3-1 record at 126, winning by fall against Brock Carter of Logan-Rogersville.

Four Blair Oaks wrestlers placed fourth at the tournament: Jayce Griggs (2-2) at 113, Bo Thomas (3-2) at 138, Paul Karsten (2-2) at 182 and Kaleb Bisgues (3-2) at 285.

Caleb Meeks finished fifth at 132 with a 3-2 record, winning by a 5-3 decision against Drew Burns of Holt's JV team in the fifth-place match.

Other Blair Oaks wrestlers competing at the tournament were Kyler Griep (2-1 record at 145), Eddie Wells (1-2 at 152) and Adam Jurgensmeyer (1-2 at 160).

Blair Oaks will wrestle Friday and Saturday at the Battle of Lexington Tournament.
