Boys Basketball: Blair Oaks 77, Eugene 38

EUGENE - Blair Oaks got out to an early lead and never stopped rolling Tuesday night as the Falcons defeated the Eugene Eagles 77-38.

It was the second time in four days the Falcons and Eagles met on the court. Blair Oaks beat Eugene 70-55 in Saturday's Eugene Tournament championship game.

On Tuesday, the Falcons led 24-10 after the first quarter and 40-25 at halftime. Blair Oaks scored the first 22 points of the second half to lead 70-25 heading into the fourth quarter.

Dylan Skinner scored a game-high 18 points for Blair Oaks. Thomas Verslues chipped in with 13. Tim Fick and Braydan Pritchett each scored 10.

Austin Dickey led Eugene with 10 points.

Blair Oaks (4-0) plays Saturday at Sullivan while Eugene (3-2) is at Eldon on Friday.

The Falcons also won the JV game 52-16. Parker Bax led Blair Oaks (2-0) with 12 points.
