Boys Basketball: Helias rolls to win at Classic

COLUMBIA - Landon Harrison scored 21 points Sunday to lead the Helias Crusaders to a 68-35 win against Smithville in the Norm Stewart Classic at Columbia College.

For his efforts, Harrison was voted the game's MVP.

Helias jumped out to an 18-4 lead after one quarter and stretched that advantage to 36-12 at the half. It was 48-24 in favor of the Crusaders after three quarters.

Marcus Anthony added 13 points for Helias, while Alex Buschjost chipped in with 10. Nick Brandt totaled seven steals.

Helias (2-0) is back in action Friday at Camdenton.
