COLUMBIA - The Helias Lady Crusaders won their first dual match of the season, beating Battle 5-0 on Thursday.
Abby Dowden and Catherine Conley won their doubles match 8-1 and Megan Oliver and Grace Twehous won 8-0. Liz Conley and Anna Theroff completed the doubles sweep with an 8-1 win.
Oliver won 8-1 in singles and Liz Conley picked up an 8-0 win to seal the dual victory. Dowden, Catherine Conley, Theroff and Twehous were all leading in their singles matches.
In the JV match, Helias defeated Battle 7-0.
Helias (1-2) will play today in the Mid-Missouri Duals at Rock Bridge in Columbia. The Lady Crusaders will face Belleville East and Belleville West, both of Illinois.
