CAMDENTON - The Helias Lady Crusaders golf team shot a 368 to finish fifth out of 17 teams Wednesday at the Laker Invitational held at Lake Valley Golf Club.
Alex Nelson led the Lady Crusaders with a 90. Jayden Ralston shot a 91, Mia Millard carded a 93 and Reese Hamilton totaled a 94.
The Jefferson City Lady Jays finished sixth in the team standings with a 372.
Sami Swinfard led the Lady Jays with an 86, finishing in the top 15 to medal in the tournament. Valerie Hurt carded an 89, Lily Tharp had a 98 and Christa Kiesling rounded out Jefferson City's team score with a 99.
Rock Bridge won the tournament with a team score of 339. Blue Springs South was second with a 340, followed by Hickman in third place with a 348. Marquette finished fourth with a 359.
The Lady Jays will play today at Battle, while the next match for the Lady Crusaders is Monday at Sedalia Smith-Cotton.
