Prep Baseball: Jamestown 6, Eugene 3

EUGENE - Eugene opened the fall season Monday with a 6-3 loss to Jamestown,

Jarrin Limbach had two hits for Eugene.

Mason Kirkweg started for Eugene, allowing a run on three hits while striking out seven in three innings. Limbach took the loss, giving up three runs in an inning. Sam Beck worked the final two frames, allowing two runs on five hits while recording four strikeouts.

Eugene, which won the JV game 3-2, will play Friday at Tuscumbia.
