College Football: Wilson tops CMU in receiving

DES MOINES, Iowa - Central Methodist sophomore wide receiver Kooper Wilson had a team-high 56 yards receiving Saturday in the Eagles' 28-7 loss to No. 12 Grand View.

It's the third consecutive game Wilson (Versailles High School) has led the Eagles in receiving, finishing with two catches, one for 51 yards that set up Central Methodist's only touchdown in the first quarter.

Through three games, Wilson has 21 catches for 229 yards. He is tied for second in the NAIA in receptions and is tied for 10th in receptions per game.

Central Methodist (1-2) hosts Graceland on Saturday.
