BOLIVAR - Southwest Baptist senior cornerback Cory Hanger had a fumble recovery and three pass breakups Saturday in the Bearcats' 38-3 win against Central State.
Hanger (South Callaway High School) recovered the fumble - his second in as many games - and returned it 56 yards to the Central State 4-yard line. The Bearcats would kick a field goal to extend their lead to 32-3.
Hanger also finished with six total tackles, including four solo stops. As a punt returner, he had two returns for 23 yards.
This season, he has 11 total tackles (eight solo stops) and five pass breakups.
