College Football: Wilson tops CMU in receiving yards

FAYETTE - Central Methodist sophomore Kooper Wilson led the Eagles in receiving in their 20-13 overtime loss Saturday against Culver-Stockton.

Wilson (Versailles High School) finished with game-highs of 12 catches for 86 yards, his longest reception going for 23 yards.

Through two games this season, Wilson has 19 catches fro 173 yards. He ranks second in the NAIA in receptions, fifth in receptions per game (9.5), 11th in total receiving yards and 37th in receiving yards per game (86.5).

Central Methodist (1-1) plays Saturday at No. 12 Grand View.
