College Football: Illinois State's Bohlken boots 67-yard punt

DeKALB, Ill. - Illinois State punter JT Bohlken had a career-long 67-yard punt Aug. 31 in the Redbirds' 24-10 loss to Northern Illinois.

Bohlken (Jefferson City High School) finished the game with nine punts, averaging 43.8 yards per kick. Two punts went for more than 50 yards, two were inside the 20-yard line and one went for a touchback.

Through two games this season, Bohlken has 13 punts for an average of 42.8 yards. Five have resulted in fair catches.

Illinois State (1-1) plays Saturday at Eastern Illinois.
