College Football: Barr leads Truman State offense to upset win

DES MOINES, Iowa - Truman State redshirt senior quarterback Jaden Barr compiled more than 100 yards of total offense Saturday, helping the Bulldogs to a 10-7 win against FCS Drake.

Barr (California High School) completed 12-of-18 passes for 85 yards. He was the team's second-leading rusher, adding 17 carries for 45 yards.

Barr had an 8-yard run set up a 46-yard field goal in the second quarter. The Bulldogs' other score came on a kickoff return for a touchdown to start the second half.

Truman State (1-0) hosts Wayne State (Mich.) on Saturday.
