College Baseball: Imhoff wins in relief

JOPLIN, Mo. - State Fair Community College sophomore Josiah Imhoff picked up the win Thursday, as the Roadrunners upset top-seeded Crowder College 7-6 in the NJCAA Region 16 Tournament at Joe Becker Stadium.

Imhoff (Helias High School) pitched the final 1 innings, allowing one run on three hits with one walk and one strikeout. State Fair scored four runs in the top of the ninth to give Imhoff a one-run lead heading into the bottom half of the inning.

With the win, Imhoff improved his season record to 5-4. In 15 appearances, he has a 7.17 ERA with 37 strikeouts in 59 innings.

State Fair dropped its next two games in the double-elimination tournament, ending the season with a 33-24 record.
