College Baseball: Fatima grad Robertson hits 10th homer for Creighton

BETHESDA, Md. - Creighton junior left fielder hit a three-run home run Friday during the second game of a doubleheader against Georgetown.

The home run was the 10th of the season for Robertson (Fatima High School), which is tied for the team lead. His home run extended Creighton's lead to 7-0 in the top of the fourth inning.

Play was suspended in the sixth inning with Creighton leading Georgetown 9-0. The Bluejays won the opener 7-3, getting an RBI single from Robertson in the first inning.

Through 37 games this season, Robertson is batting .285 (43-for-151) with a team-high 42 RBI to go with 30 runs scored and 13 doubles.

Creighton (27-10) will resume play later today, followed by the third game of the three-game series.
