LU duo makes All-MIAA softball team

Two players from the Lincoln softball team were honored Wednesday on the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association all-conference list.

Sophomore first baseman Camryn Pryor made the All-MIAA second team, while junior left fielder Jordan Lawson was an honorable mention for the third consecutive season.

Pryor is the first Blue Tiger softball player to be named to the second team since Lincoln rejoined the MIAA prior to the 2011 season.

Pryor led Lincoln in several offensive categories this season, including batting average (.392), slugging percentage (.516) and on-base percentage (.409). Her 60 hits in 50 games broke the Lincoln single-season record of 51 held by Audriana Hush since 2009.

Lawson was second on the team with a .312 batting average. She led the team with 27 RBI and scored 22 runs. In addition to hitting 11 doubles, Lawson led the Blue Tigers with five home runs.
