College Wrestling: Irwin goes 2-0 in Campbellsville Duals

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Williams Baptist junior Tanner Irwin won both of his matches in dual competition for the Eagles last Friday in the Campbellsville Duals.

Irwin (Jefferson City High School) picked up a win by fall in 2:00 against Lindenwood-Belleville's Jonathan Nunez at 141 pounds.

The Eagles won the dual 30-20.

Against host Campbellsville, Irwin was one of two Eagles to record a win, taking a 7-5 decision against Kolten Radaz. Williams Baptist dropped the dual 42-8.

According to TrackWrestling.com, Irwin has a 14-1 record this season. He is ranked No. 6 at 133 in the NAIA.

Williams Baptist (5-8), ranked No. 19 in the NAIA, is scheduled to wrestle today at Central Baptist College.
