Women's Basketball: Rhine leads Bulldogs with 26 points

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Drake redshirt junior forward Sara Rhine scored a game-high 26 points last Friday in the Bulldogs' 88-64 win against Northern Iowa.

Rhine (Eldon High School) finishing 9-of-18 shooting from the floor, making two 3-pointers, and also went 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. She finished with five steals and three rebounds in Drake's fifth straight win.

Rhine continues to lead the Missouri Valley Conference in scoring with 19.3 points per game, which ranks 35th in NCAA Division I. Her 8.2 rebounds per game are tied for second in the MVC, while her 58.4 field-goal percentage leads the conference and ranks 26th in the country.

Drake (13-4, 5-0 MVC), which received voted in this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll, plays Friday at Indiana State.
