Women's Basketball: Brandt gets double-double for Cougars

ST. LOUIS - Columbia College senior guard Morgan Brandt finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds last Saturday, leading the Cougars to an 85-63 win against the St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics.

Brandt (Fatima High School) shot 7-of-11 from the field, including 3-of-5 from 3-point range, and added six assists and two steals in the win.

Junior forward Mai Nienhueser (Helias High School) had six points and three assists for Columbia College.

Through 19 games, Brandt is second on the Cougars with 11.3 points per game and leads the team with an average of 8.6 rebounds. Nienhueser averages 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds.

Columbia College (18-2), ranked No. 2 in the NAIA, hosts William Woods today.
