College Golf: Reger, Jungmeyer finish in top 10

FULTON, Mo. - Travis Reger tied for fourth place to lead the William Woods B team Monday and Tuesday in the William Woods Fall Invitational at Tanglewood Golf Course.

Reger (Versailles High School) shot a 3-under 69 in the first round and was one shot off the lead. He finished with a 78 in his second round to post a two-round total of 3-over 147.

The William Woods B team finished third with a 609. William Woods' A team won with a 587, one stroke better than Columbia College.

Sophomore Tanner Elder (Blair Oaks High School) tied for 18th with a 14-over 158 for Columbia College. He opened with an 80 and shot a 78 in his second round.

Columbia College junior Mikala Jungmeyer finished sixth in the women's individual standings, helping the Cougars to a second-place finish.

William Woods won with a 629, followed by Columbia College with a 661.

Jungmeyer (Russellville High School) shot an 83 in her first round and followed that with a 78 to finish with a 17-over 161.
