DES MOINES, Iowa - Central Methodist senior linebacker Travis Burris tied for a team-high six tackles Saturday in the Eagles' 47-27 loss to No. 10 Grand View.
Burris (Jefferson City High School) had three solo stops and three assisted tackles, as well as half a tackle for loss.
Through three games, Burris is tied for 13th in the NAIA with 10.7 tackles per game. He is second on the Eagles with 32 total tackles.
Central Methodist (1-2) hosts William Penn on Saturday.
