CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - Northern Iowa sophomore Sammey Bunch had a four-hit game Saturday in the Panthers' 10-6 win against Illinois State.
Bunch (Fatima High School) finished 4-for-4 with three runs scored and one RBI, collecting a pair of doubles.
In 48 games this season, Bunch is second on the Panthers with a .362 batting average (59-for-163) with team-highs of five home runs and 31 RBI. She is also tied for the team lead with 28 runs scored and leads Northern Iowa with a .540 slugging percentage.
Northern Iowa (25-23) plays Saturday at Southern Illinois.
