CONWAY, Ark. - Columbia College sophomore Mai Nienhueser and junior Morgan Brandt combined to score 29 points Saturday, leading the Cougars to their 18th straight win with an 86-56 victory against Central Baptist.
Nienhueser (Helias High School) finished with a game-high 16 points, while Brandt (Fatima High School) added 13 points in the win. Nienhueser also finished with a team-high five rebounds.
Through 29 games, Brandt is second on the Cougars with 10.8 points per game, while Nienhueser is tied for fifth with 9.0 points per contest.
Columbia College (24-5), ranked No. 8 in the NAIA, wraps up the regular season Saturday at home against Missouri Baptist. A win would give the Cougars the American Midwest Conference regular-season title outright.
