CHICAGO - Southern Illinois sophomore Nicole Martin finished with a team-high 15 points Sunday in the Salukis' 62-53 loss to Loyola of Chicago.
Martin (Jefferson City High School) shot 6-of-15 from the field and grabbed four rebounds. In Missouri Valley Conference games only, Martin leads the Salukis with a scoring average of 11.7 points per game. For the season, she is averaging 12.0 points per game.
Southern Illinois (14-12) plays Friday at Missouri State.
