SPRINGFIELD - Evangel sophomore Taylor Good hit her first home run of the season Wednesday in the Crusaders' 5-4 win in eight innings against Missouri Baptist.
Good (School of the Osage High School) hit a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning, tying the game at 3. She finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate, adding a leadoff double and a run scored in the fifth inning.
Evangel (1-3), which also lost 5-4 in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader, host the DoubleTree Classic next Friday and Saturday.
