FORT WORTH, Texas - Columbia College freshman Lexi Dickerson collected four RBI in her collegiate debut last Friday, leading the Cougars to a 14-4 win in their season opener against Morningside College at the Cowtown Classic.
Dickerson (Eugene High School) drove in two runs with a single in the fifth inning, then added a two-run triple in the seventh inning to finish 2-for-4 with a run scored.
Senior first baseman Allyson Metz (Jefferson City High School) went 1-for-5 with a single.
Columbia College (2-1) hosts Baker and Missouri S&T on Saturday.
