College Volleyball: Haslag ends career with 1,688 kills

AMES, Iowa - Bradley senior outside hitter Erica Haslag finished with a team-high 13 kills Friday in the Braves' 25-22, 25-19, 25-13 loss to Iowa State in the second round of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship.

This was Bradley's first postseason appearance in program history.

Haslag (Helias High School) finishes her season with 543 kills, which currently ranks seventh in NCAA Division I. That mark ranks second on the Bradley all-time single-season list, trailing only the 720 kills by Lindsay Stalzer in 2005. Haslag is also third on that list with 530 kills in 2017.

Haslag led Bradley in kills in each of four seasons, recording 295 as a freshman and 320 as a sophomore.

For her career, Haslag finishes with 1,688 kills. That mark ranks third in Bradley history, behind Stalzer (1,948) and Jenny Pavlas (1,732), and also ranks 10th in Missouri Valley Conference history.

As for other Bradley career records, Haslag is first in attack attempts (5,060), third in kills per set (3.78), fourth in sets played (447) and tied for eighth in career matches played (123).

Bradley finishes the season with a 24-9 record.
