College Volleyball: Haslag named co-MVP

PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley junior outside hitter Erica Haslag posted a team-high 59 kills in the Braves' four wins Friday and Saturday in the CEFCU Invitational.

Haslag (Helias High School) was named the tournament's co-MVP with fellow teammate Yavianliz Rosado. It's the first time Bradley has won four matches in two days since 1985 and the team's first four-match win streak since 2013.

Haslag averaged 4.5 kills per set in tournament and finished with 21 kills in the Braves' four-set win Saturday against Grand Canyon. Bradley also beat South Dakota State, UConn and UMKC, each in three sets. Haslag had a double-double of 14 kills and 10 digs against UConn.

Bradley (7-7) hosts Southern Illinois on Friday in its Missouri Valley Conference opener.
