COLUMBIA, Mo. - Columbia College senior midfielder Tiffany Weaver had two goals and senior midfielder Jordan Poire added another goal Wednesday in the Cougars' 11-0 win against Stephens College.
Weaver (Helias High School) extended Columbia College's lead to 3-0 in the 26th minute, then scored the team's final goal in the 75th minute. Weaver has scored four games in four appearances this fall for the Cougars.
Poire (Helias High School) scored in the 56th minute to push the Cougars' lead to 8-0. The goal was Poire's first this season.
Sophomore defender Kaitlyn Tambke (Jefferson City High School) added an assist on the Cougars' second goal of the match, her first point of the season.
Columbia College (12-0), ranked No. 5 in the NAIA, hosts Jamestown (N.D.) on Saturday.
