Two area runners competed for cross country national championships Saturday.
In the NCAA Division II men's championship at Evansville, Ind., Missouri Southern senior Tyler Rush (Linn High School) finished 76th out of 249 competitors with a time of 32:29.60.
The Lions placed 17th out of 32 teams with 455 points.
In the NAIA women's championship in Vancouver, Wash., William Woods freshman Harley Nale (Linn High School) came in 217th place out of 338 runners, clocking a time of 20:01.
