WARRENSBURG - Central Missouri senior Cole Distler went 2-for-5 last Friday, leading the Mules to a 13-3 win against Washburn.
Distler (Helias High School) hit a two-run home run in the second inning, his second of the season. He also finished with an RBI single in the seventh inning and an RBI groundout in the eighth to finish with four RBI.
In 15 games this season, Distler is batting .239 (11-for-46) with 12 runs scored and nine RBI. He also has six stolen bases in seven chances.
Central Missouri (32-16) faces Central Oklahoma on Thursday in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Tournament at Joplin. The Mules are the No. 4 seed.
