FAYETTE - John Karsten of Missouri S&T finished second in three events Saturday in a meet at Central Methodist.
Karsten (Blair Oaks High School) was second in the hammer throw (185-11), the shot put (51-6) and discus (149-0).
His mark in the hammer throw is a provisional qualifying mark for NCAA Division II.
