Renegades begin postseason play tonight at Nevada

The postseason begins tonight for four of the six MINK League playoff teams.

In the South Division, the Jefferson City Renegades will travel to Nevada to take on the Griffons. The Sedalia Bombers will host the Clarinda A's in the North Division wild-card game. Both games start at 7 p.m.

Nevada (21-21) won five of its six matchups against Jefferson City (17-25) this season, with the lone win for the Renegades being 4-3 on June 16 at Vivion Field.

The Griffons dominated the most recent matchup, winning 15-0 on July 22 in Nevada.

The wild-card winners will play for a division championship Thursday.

The St. Joseph Mustangs (27-12) are the top seed in the North Division, while the Ozark Generals finished first in the South Division (24-18).

The division winners will face each other in a best-of-3 series starting Friday.
