Men's Basketball: Kuschel leads Owls in upset win

COLUMBIA - William Woods senior forward Klayton Kuschel grabbed a team-high nine rebounds Saturday in the Owls' 65-57 upset win against Columbia College, ranked No. 3 in the NAIA.

It was only the second time in program history William Woods has beaten Columbia College.

Kuschel (Chamois High School) also finished with seven points and four blocked shots in 21 minutes.

William Woods (20-10) received the No. 5 seed in the American Midwest Conference Tournament and will play at 5 p.m. Thursday at fourth-seeded Freed-Hardeman.
