ST. LOUIS - Columbia College junior Karli Leeper belted her first home run of the season Feb. 19 in the Cougars' 1-0 win against Maryville.
Leeper (South Callaway High School) hit her solo blast in the top of the second inning for the game's only run. She went 2-for-3, adding a single.
Junior Dakota Newton (Jefferson City High School) also had a stolen base as a pinch runner in the win.
Columbia College (5-2) will face William Carey and Martin Methodist on Friday in the first day of the Gulf Coast Invitational.
