FAIRFAX, Va. - Another weekend, another school record for Griffin McCurren.
After setting Saint Louis University marks in the 400- and 600-meter dashes the previous two weeks, McCurren (Helias High School) eclipsed the school mark in the 500-meter dash this weekend at the Atlantic 10 Conference Indoor Championships.
McCurren finished third in the 500 with a time of 1:03.72. The previous mark of 1:05.35 was set by Austin Crtichlow in 2008.
Saint Louis University finished fourth in the team standings.
