Lincoln softball loses two

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - The Lincoln Blue Tigers dropped a pair of softball games Saturday.

Ouachita Baptist blanked Lincoln 8-0 in five innings in the first game.

Spencer Silva took the loss, allowing five runs on seven hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings. Madison Ragar allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and three walks in 1 1/3 innings of relief.

Megan Heimbaugh had two of Lincoln's five hits in the contest.

Christian Brothers then topped Lincoln 6-2.

Heimbaugh again had two of Lincoln's five hits. She also scored a run and drove in another. Sam Kircher also scored for Lincoln, while Avery Myers drove in the other run.

Ragar took the loss, working the first 2 1/3 innings. She allowed four runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk. She struck out two. Lauren Stamp worked the final 3 2/3 innings, giving up two runs (no earned) on two hits.

Lincoln (0-3) will play two more games today, facing Mississippi College at 9 a.m. and Henderson State at 1 p.m. Henderson State defeated Lincoln 14-2 on Friday.
