WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Missouri S&T senior Kelly Heckemeyer had a pair of singles and scored a run Saturday in the Miners' 5-3 win against Colorado Mines at the Midwestern State Tournament.
Heckemeyer (St. Elizabeth High School) also went 1-for-5 with an RBI single and a run scored Sunday in Missouri S&T's 13-11 loss against Southwestern Oklahoma to conclude the tournament.
In three games, Heckemeyer is batting .400 (4-for-10) with three runs scored.
Missouri S&T (2-3) will play Saturday in St. Louis against Maryville and Lincoln.
