College Football: Bond leads CMU in wins

FAYETTE - Central Methodist senior middle blocker Madison Bond had team-highs of 24 kills and nine blocks Saturday in the Eagles' two wins in their home openers.

Central Methodist defeated McPherson (Kan.) 25-22, 23-25, 25-15, 25-20, then won in straight sets against Stephens College 25-9, 25-13, 25-10.

Bond (Jefferson City High School) had 13 kills and six blocks to lead the Eagles against McPherson. She added 11 kills and three blocks in the win against Stephens.

Central Methodist (2-1) plays today at Benedictine (Kan.).
