College Softball: Lincoln swept at Southwest Baptist

BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Lincoln Blue Tigers wrapped up the softball season Monday by dropping a doubleheader to Southwest Baptist.

Lincoln dropped the opener 9-0. The Blue Tigers had one hit in the contest, a leadoff single by Jordan Lawson in the second inning. She was erased on a double play.

Southwest Baptist scored in each of the four innings it came to the plate, capped by a four-run fourth.

Madison Ragar took the loss, allowing six earned runs on nine hits and a walk. She struck out three.

Lincoln committed four errors in the contest.

Lincoln then fell 8-0 in the second game, again finishing with one hit. Mykenize Livesay led off the fourth inning with a single for the Blue Tigers.

Leading 1-0, Southwest Baptist broke the game open with three runs in the fourth and four in the fifth.

Sarah Westhoff took the loss allowing three earned runs on 12 hits and three walks. Lincoln finished with four errors in this game as well.

Lincoln ends its season at 5-47.
