College Track: Shea takes second at Georgia Tech

ATLANTA - Southeast Missouri State sophomore Kaitlyn Shea took second place out of 28 competitors Friday in the women's 5,000-meter run at the Georgia Tech Invitational.

Shea (Helias High School) clocked a time of 17:18.70, trailing only North Florida's Eden Meyer. It's the third time during the outdoor season Shea has posted a second-place finish in the 5,000.

Southeast Missouri State will compete Friday and Saturday at the Memphis Invitational.
