Missouri baseball beats Arkansas P-B

COLUMBIA, Mo. - The Missouri Tigers beat the Arkansas Pine-Bluff Golden Lions 13-1 on Tuesday at Taylor Stadium to win their third straight game.

Kameron Misner and Brett Bond each hit RBI-doubles, and Connor Brumfield followed with a pair of RBI singles in the bottom of the second and fourth innings. Alex Samples hit an RBI double followed by a Misner RBI triple in the bottom of the fifth. Trey Harris hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the eighth.

Andy Toelken (2-1) pitched a complete game, giving up a run on two hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. Misner and Brumfield each went 3-for-4, while Harris homered in his second straight game.

Missouri (24-9, 6-6 Southeastern Conference) hosts Arkansas Pine-Bluff at 4 p.m. today.
