COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri women's basketball program will have another new face on the roster next season.
Former Tulsa and Lutheran North High School guard Shug Dickson announced Tuesday she would transfer to Missouri on Twitter. Dickson, a 5-foot-9 guard, started in 23 games for the Golden Hurricane during the 2017-18 season and averaged 14 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 37.5 percent from the floor and 35 percent from 3-point range.
Dickson transferred to Texas Tech and sat out the 2018-19 season, which was also current Lady Red Raiders head coach Marlene Stollings' first season as head coach.
Dickson will have two seasons of eligibility left, and she and Missouri are looking into whether or not she would be immediately eligible after satisfying the transfer requirement of sitting for a season at Texas Tech.
