COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri women's basketball team announced Thursday it will play in Cancun, Mexico, at the end of November in the Cancun Challenge.
The Tigers will play at 3 p.m. Nov. 28, against New Mexico and at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 29, against North Carolina in modified ballrooms at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera.
Missouri went 1-2 in the Cancun Challenge in 2012, its only previous appearance. The Tigers are 2-1 all-time against the Lobos and 0-1 against the Tar Heels.
Other teams in the Riviera Tournament of the Cancun Challenge include Creighton, West Virginia and Temple.
