After taking the last week off, the Missouri Tigers women's basketball team is back in action tonight at LSU.

Missouri (16-5 overall, 5-3 Southeastern Conference) hasn't played since defeating Auburn 74-65 on Jan. 27 at Mizzou Arena. Missouri senior Sophie Cunningham totaled 30 points in the victory and now has 1,928 points in her career. She is third all-time in scoring in women's basketball at Missouri.
At 16.6 points per game, Cunningham is one of two Tigers averaging in double figures. Amber Smith is next at 13.0.
Missouri averages 65 points per game while holding opponents to 56.5 per contest.
LSU (12-8, 3-5) is coming off a 68-35 loss Thursday at No. 6 Mississippi State.
LSU is second in the SEC and 15th in the country in defense, allowing just 55.5 points per game. The Tigers average just under 10 steals per game and hold opponents to just 27.9 percent shooting on 3-pointers.
Ayana Mitchell (6-foot-2, jr.) paces LSU in scoring at 12.7 points per game and in rebounds at 9.9. Khayla Pointer (5-7, soph.) averages 12.3 points for the Tigers.

Missouri has not won in Baton Rouge since joining the SEC, going 0-3. Missouri's last win at LSU was a 67-51 decision on Jan. 2, 1988.
