FORT COLLINS, Colo. — It won't count in the season stats, but Missouri senior forward Sarah Luebbert scored her first goal of the 2019 season Wednesday.

The Tigers wrapped up exhibition play with a 3-1 victory against Colorado State, splitting their two preseason contests.

In their other exhibition game Sunday, the Tigers lost 7-0 at Stanford.

Luebbert (Jefferson City High School) scored one of Missouri's two goals in the first half Wednesday. She scored on a penalty kick in the 22nd minute to extend the Tigers' lead to 2-0.

Jadyn Easley scored Missouri's first goal in the 15th minute. Julissa Cisneros scored the Tigers' other goal in the second half.

Through her first three seasons at Missouri, Luebbert has tallied 21 goals — which ranks ninth in program history — and 15 assists in 58 games played. Her 57 career points rank 10th all-time at Missouri.

Luebbert was named to the All-SEC first team in 2018 after receiving second-team honors during her freshman and sophomore seasons.

On Tuesday, Missouri was picked to finish 10th in the Southeastern Conference coaches preseason poll, with Texas A&M tabbed as the favorite to win the league. Nine of the SEC's 14 teams are either ranked in the top 25 or are receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches preseason rankings.

Missouri opens the 2019 regular season next Thursday at home against Southern Miss. Game time is 7 p.m. at Walton Stadium.
