COLUMBIA — Missouri junior guard Sophie Cunningham is day-to-day after being diagnosed with right knee sprain suffered during Sunday's win at Alabama.
Cunningham was injured early in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 62-56 victory against the Crimson Tide. She underwent an MRI on Tuesday, the team announced.
Cunningham leads Missouri, which has won 13 straight games, in scoring at 18.2 points per contest.
No. 15 Missouri (13-1 overall, 1-0 SEC) is back in action at 7 p.m. Thursday against LSU (9-3, 1-0) at Mizzou Arena before hosing defending national champion No. 4 South Carolina (12-1, 1-0) at 1 p.m. Sunday.
