COLUMBIA, Mo. — The Missouri football team has added three more players during the early signing period.
Antar Thompson, a defensive tackle from Highland Community College, signed his letter of intent Thursday.
On Saturday, Missouri announced two more additions to the 2018 recruiting class, which now has 19 players.
Chris Mills, a defensive back from Converse, Texas, and Messiah Swinson, a tight end from Glen Head, N.Y., signed with the Tigers.
Thompson, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 310 pounds, will have three years of eligibility remaining. Thompson had initially signed with Missouri in 2013 while he was at Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School, but he was unable to qualify academically.
Swinson, who is 6-7 and 260 pounds, brings size and athleticism to the Missouri offense. He caught 34 passes for 508 yards and four touchdowns during his junior season at Lutheran High School.
Mills becomes the eighth signee from Texas in the class. The 6-foot, 185-pound corner had four interceptions and 11 pass breakups during his final two seasons at Judson High School.
Friday was the end of the early signing period. The next opportunity for players to sign Division I football scholarships will be Feb. 7.
