As in most presidential election years, Tuesday's ballot is a crowded one.
The ballot in Cole County and most other counties will be two-sided, and voters are reminded to turn their ballots over to finish voting before turning them in.
Mid-Missourians will have a variety of choices - and, in some races, from more than the two major political parties - in federal, state and local contests.
Here's a reminder list of all candidates and issues, in the order they will appear on Tuesday's ballot.
A complete sample ballot also is available on Page D7 in today's News Tribune newspaper, including the ballot language on Missouri's proposed constitutional amendments and proposed change in state tobacco tax law.
To be counted on election night, write-in candidates had to file their intention to be a candidate by 5 p.m. Oct. 28.
Although write-in candidates are listed in this story, their names are not shown on the actual ballot. Voters who want to write in a candidate must know the name(s) of the candidate(s) they want to vote for, then check the write-in box and write in the name(s).
