If the Constitution and history are removed from teaching, may we rewrite our own version? Democrats' handling of the economy has been disastrous. Carter's 22 percent mortgage interest rates that President Reagan solved. President Clinton's Community Reinvestment Act forced banks to questionable lending, aided by ACORN rioters like President Obama. This brought the housing collapse/recession in 2008 during President Bush's administration. Presidents' policies matter!
Obama punished businesses with the world's highest taxes and the over-regulatory Dodd/Frank bill. Businesses closed or went overseas. The feds poured $4 trillion into Quantitative Easement 1,2,3,4 and kept interest rates at .25 percent from 2008-2015, raising it once to .75 percent in 2016. Obama's "smash and grab" policy of investigating/regulating businesses lowered stock values, so his valued friends like Soros, Steyer, Pritzker and Nesbit made fortunes buying low and selling high.
Trump lowered taxes and regulations. Despite the feds seven rate increases, it's the best unemployment figures in over 50 years! He renegotiated NAFTA - held in Pelosi's "in-box," NATO so Europe pays for their defense, pulled out of the disastrous Iran deal, TPP and Paris accord. He wisely doesn't make enemies of North Korea and China while he's negotiating to lower the $850+ billion trade deficit and secure arms agreements, like our Founding Fathers advised. While Obama allowed ISIS' expansion and handicapped our military with restrictive engagement rules, Trump wiped ISIS out in Syria and is providing food and backing for the duly elected Guaido in Venezuela. The Monroe Doctrine has been violated for years or our military wouldn't be in 128 countries. Trump accomplished this while every aspect of his family and associates' lives were thoroughly scrutinized because of Democratic fake documents created to undo his presidency. Vindication hasn't satisfied the Dems still using Saul Alinsky's tactics for character assassination. Horowitz and Attorney General Barr's investigations will reveal the truth.

Trump's attempts to secure "our country's" borders, fix healthcare (Republicans will cover pre-existing conditions) failed because Democratic votes were needed. Trump's administration followed Obama's policies to separate families to protect the three out of five children arriving with traffickers. Will Democrats finally work with Trump to solve our nation's problems? I doubt it!
